It's been a while since we've posted any experimental/noise music on this blog, so today we're featuring de/V/oid. de/V/oid is "a queer caveboy who churns out a series of crunches, drones, bleeps and the odd-highly distorted vocal in a vague approximation of music" from the Netherlands. Although some of de/V/oid's work is fairly straightforward low tempo electronic music, other pieces are what I would imagine it would sound like if you put a huggybear tape, 90's cellphones, spells, plagues of insects and used motor oil in a blender and set it to a slow grind. In other words, pretty awesome. There are also tracks that remind me of a possessed version of the Liquid Sky soundtrack, which is double awesome.
Check out a couple of tracks I like and if you want more visit Soundcloud, Myspace or his tape/CDR label's blog.
