Brooklyn's spaced out hip hop producer and MC Black Cracker just put out an awesome new mixtape called preTty boy. You probably know Black Cracker from Bunny Rabbit and the Cult of Miracles or past work with CocoRosie and Light Asylum. Pretty impressive resume. But that's the past and this mixtape is the future! It's full of tracks that blow the garbage you hear on the radio out of the water. There are hip hip songs, dancey hip pop numbers, dirty slow jams and time travel R&B all showing off Black Cracker's previously sort of hidden MC talents. It's a lot of fun to listen to and I think it'll be getting a lot play this summer.
