Chicago - If you haven't been to Queerer Park you're totally missing out. Queerer Park is, as you could guess, a dance party for queers, allies and weirdos that roams around town bringing you a fun time and good music each month. I DJed the party last month with two other awesome girl DJs and it was the most fun I've had in a long time. This month DJs Barbara Butch & Unisexy, Black Gold and Reagonomix are your selectors so it looks like it's gonna be another good one! Also, it's not just a good time...it's a benefit for Chicago Books to Women in Prison, an all-volunteer collective that mails paperback books to women in prisons in nine states. So drink up for charity!
See you there?
Flopsy Tea House
2736 W. North Ave.
(Entrance through alley)
To give you an idea of the party, here are a few songs that were played last month!
Kingdom - Mind Reader (L-Vis 1990 Remix)
Wiley - Never Be Your Woman (Solo Loves Garage Remix)
Simian Mobile Disco f. Beth Ditto - Cruel Intentions (Maurice Fulton Remix)
